SECTION II INGREDIENTS

Atlas SoilLok is a polymer dispersion with a biological, readily biodegradable softener that was developed especially for seed and soil protection/soil stabilization in widely different applications and a different climatic conditions: in cold and rainy weather, as well as at extreme desert conditions; on garbage mounds; in open lignite mines and at construction sites; on sports fields, golf courses and in agriculture.

Physical state:

Concentrate, liquid water-soluble. Milky white, polymer dispersion.

Density:

1.1 g/cm3

Viscosity:

8000+2000mPa.s at 20°C

pH value:

4 - 6

Solids component:

57.5 + 1.5 weight %

Storage:

Cool and frost free, not above 50°C

Stability in storage:

6 months for sealed original packing.

Miscibility:

Can be diluted with water in all ratios of mixture to suit requirements.

Influencing properties:

Artificial crusting of soil surfaces as a transparent, colorless, elastic film with distinctive network structure.

Working temperature:

Above 5°C

Time frame:

At least until vegetation root formations assume erosion protection function.

Ecology:

Non-toxic, environmentally friendly, biodegradable.

Permeability to rain of the stabilized soil layer:

Stabilized soil layer has high permeability to rain and oxygen; no impairment of vegetative growth.

SECTION IV FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA

Suitable for all regular extinguishing materials.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures:

Avoid high pressure waterjet.

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards:

Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide can be released in case of fire. Put on breathing apparatus.

SECTION V HEALTH HAZARD DATA

Threshold Limit Value:

Caution - Keep out of reach of children.

Effects of Overexposure:

Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts or sores. Rinse with running water.

Emergency & First-Aid:

Internal-if swallowed, drink plenty of water, see a physician. Taking into account acute toxicity data and the proportions of the substances contained in the product, it is neither toxic nor hazardous to health on ingestion.

Eyes - in case of contact with eyes, flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.

Transport:

Not a hazardous material according to RID/ADR, GGVS/GGVE, ADNR, IMDG, ICAO-TI/IATA-DGR.

None known, if used for intended purpose.

Hazardous Decomposition:

Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide can be generated in case of fire. No decomposition if used according to specifications.

SECTION VII SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Steps to be taken if material is released or spilled:

Wash with water.

This product is water soluble, biodegradable, non-polluting, non-toxic to water and soil, roots and plants. Though bacterial system residues are not a problem, this is an organic product.

Waste disposal method:

Remove with liquid-absorbing material (sand, peat, and sawdust). Safe to wash into waste systems.
